Baker Architects, LLC is a small firm who specializes in sacred architecture. This niche allows for a high attention to detail, as well as, the opportunity to push the artistic boundaries. Our religious work often involves other building types, such as: parish centers, schools, administration buildings, and furnishing design and manufacturing.

We are looking for creative talent to add to our expanding small office. Primary job responsibilities will be working on church designs, construction & permit documents and construction phase services plus as a liaison with project clients, trades, and agencies. We place a high value on strong design abilities combined with strong computer graphics and/or construction and fabrication skills utilizing design tools that range from 3D modeling to hand-fabricated installations.

We are presently seeking an enthusiastic design professional for the role of Project Designer. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, and a minimum of 1-5 years of experience. Project experience should include all phases of architectural design projects from set-up through design and construction administration. Candidates must possess strong skills in teamwork, design, technical documentation, and verbal and written communication. Experience in the church, religious, and worship spaces markets is a plus.

Candidates should have a sound knowledge of 3D modeling programs (i.e.: ArchiCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max, Vray). We are an Archicad-based office and welcome Revit users if they are open to new technologies and design approaches. Our small, hands-on design approach allows employees to be fully involved in all phases of our projects. We offer a competitive salary and benefits. Salary is dependent on experience and skills.
