Mr. Baffuto, AIA was lead to established baffuto architecttura as a design oriented architectural firm, sparked by the desire to offer meaningful design through the “art” and technology” of sustainable architecture.

baffuto architecttura seeks to work with enthusiastic Clients interested in creating a new vision for their special projects. Mr. Baffuto, AIA known for his creative design work that integrates client needs of programming and vision planning into building solutions that are alive with architectural detail and functional expression.

Mr. Baffuto, AIA as Principal and Owner has direct “hands-on” involvement with a virtual-team business approach which has helped lead and manage numerous projects to their successful conclusion.

With over 30 years of profession experience over a broad spectrum of project types, baffuto architecttura offers professional design services for Educational, Commercial, Medical, Hospitality, Governmental (Federal, States of MT. and SD, Cities of Rapid City, Sturgis and Billings), Industrial, Retail, Housing and Custom Residential.

A member in good standing of the American Institute of Architects since 1981, he is also a member of the U. S. Green Building Council National Council (LEED AP, sustainability) and of the Architectural Registration Boards, enabling Mr. Baffuto, to become licensed in most all States promptly.

Mr. Baffuto, AIA has worked directly with and in cooperation with numerous Specialty Consultants, including: City Halls, Libraries, Student Unions, Bookstores, Interpretive Exhibit Designers, Commercial Kitchens and Acoustical Control.

baffuto architecttura offers various project delivery methods including typical Design-Bid-Build, as well as Deign-Build and Negotiated Price projects with local Contractors.

Mr. Baffuto, AIA is directly responsible for all client communication, contacts, site layout, building design, building construction document detailing, presentations, meeting notes, cost estimating, specifications, shop drawing review, construction administration, FRP/CO tracking, observation reports, close-out and one-year review.

The hallmark of these and all other baffuto architecttura projects is Mr. Baffuto’s hands-on involvement, attention to detail working from start to finish without handing off responsibilities to others.

baffuto architecttura employs the latest software for projects. Currently, Graphisoft 3-D BIM (Building Information Modeling) software: ArchiCAD V17, (interfaces w/ AutoCAD, DWG) , Microsoft Word, MS Publisher, MS Excel, Acrobat Adobe and e-mail is extensively used.
