JOB DESCRIPTION

 

rho Architects is hiring! We’re a small firm of eleven specializing in single-family residential design around Washington and the great Pacific Northwest. We are currently seeking a BIM manager to join our collaborative studio environment here in downtown Seattle. The position is expected to be part-time, where hours will be determined by mutual agreement. A competitive compensation package will be offered during the interview process and will be based on the experience/qualifications of each individual. REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree, minimum

- 2-10 years of architectural drafting/documentation

- 2+ years of BIM leadership (ArchiCAD or Revit), minimum

- Initiative in the production/coordination of BIM documents

Software:

- ArchiCAD or Revit, required
- Sketchup, highly encouraged

- Enscape, encouraged

- Virtual reality (Vive), encouraged

 

Candidates should be ready to:

- Lead the initial start-up of BIM files/models
- Manage multiple BIM files simultaneously

- Examine BIM documents for consistency and clarity

- Advocate for BIM standards and workflows

- Troubleshoot issues related to BIM and document creation

- Refine BIM templates to better reflect firm-wide standards

- Review published drawings with QC lead on a regular basis

- Mentor colleagues on current BIM techniques

- Assist the BIM onboarding of new/current employees
