MCRD has been in business since July of 2009, and is owned by James Morelli & Joey Clinard.  Located in Rocky Mount North Carolina @ 301 South Church Street, Suite 280, MCRD consists of the 2 principals as well as 3 full time and 2 part time CAD Techs. The principals have over 30 years of combined experience in all levels of drafting and design.  MCRD provide numerous Architects, Structural Engineers and Contractors as well as the individual clients with design, 3D modeling, BIMX, site studies, and complete drafting from schematic to construction drawings, all tailored to meet each company’s specific drawing standards and requirements.

Currently MCRD is partnered with several Architects, Structural Engineers and a local Contractors in the Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Rocky Mount areas of North Carolina. These Architects, Engineers & Contractor are licensed in numerous states across the US which includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, New York and locally here in North Carolina.  We have had the privilege to work on Multi-Story Doctors’ offices, Restaurants, Gyms, Churches, Schools and Colleges, Multi-Story Residential buildings, Corporate Offices and Warehouses, Fire Stations, Convenience Stores, Museums, Town Home subdivisions and many residential projects from new designs to remodel / additions. One such project is the childhood home of former Governor Mike Easley of NC.

MCRD is being recognized in 2014 in a National Blog authored by Graphisoft North America for their use of ArchiCAD, a 3D drafting design program that the firm has used since its start up, and which the principals have used since 1995.
