Architectural Designer – Seattle (remote optional)

Gladu Design is a small innovative residential design studio recognized for creative, highly detailed sustainable design.

Our portfolio includes custom single-family homes, DADU, ADU, and small hospitality projects located thought the United States. Our work is client and site driven, stylistically our portfolio includes a cross-section of design aesthetics that reflect the individual personalities of our clients. We work with a variety of building systems including conventional wood frame, panelized construction, SIP Panels, ICF, prefab, and CLT.

Position:

We are hiring a full-time (40 hours/week) talented, personable, self-motivated, and well-organized designer who is detail driven. The studio is located on Bainbridge Island, WA however we are open to remote workers. Ideally, the candidate would be within 3 hours of PDT. Client meetings and internal design meetings are held via. ZOOM.

Candidates will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience using ArchiCAD and will be assisting the Principal Designer and Associate Designer in the creation of schematic and design development presentations, preparation of construction documents, permit submission, and tracking. Knowledge and skill using Twin Motion is a plus.

The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, organization, the ability to work independently, and dedication to your craft.
